BOMBING OF HIROSHIMA: 62 YEARS LATER

Today marks the 62nd annivesary of the U.S. dropping an atomic bomb on the city of Hiroshima, Japan. More than 250,000 people ultimately died from the blast - Hiroshima's estimated population at the time was 350,000.

August 9th is the 62nd anniversary of Nagaski's atomic bombing.

There's a great documentary on HBO this month about the bombing it's self and the aftermath. It documents the lives of some of the people effected, along with some of the American's that played a part in it.. Definately worth checking out.
