he's such a hack.
It's not "hating",..it's not "envy" and it's not jealousy,..it's a detest for someone who, from all accounts, has no understanding , or concept of human anatomy, or figure drawing of his own, but some how maintains a status of 'Great artists' by copying known images, and setting them thru a filter and passing it off as original or "dynamic". It's bush league stuff. And, on top of that, he uses images that appeal to the lowest common denominator. There are kids in 8th grade that can produce the same "quality" of work.

and with the sketch program, MARVEL can finally start out sourcing it's artist to India ..

its not the art style, its the total lake of respect towords the readers by swapin and recycling, and lake of respect for the original model he trace by not giving them credit.

I would just like to say that... okay it´s a tecnique that it´s not a "correct" one... but I got to say that when its done right... the comic´s have a lot of good presentation.

Every day a lot of tecnologies are being developed in the area of arts. Photoshop started it all. Look at a little manga book called "gantz". The team who does the story builds the background (buildings, sky, whatever) all in pc using a 3d program. The artist then sketches over those guidelines. With the caracters is the same: the build a tipe of doll (like those made of wood that you see in art class), and put it in the wanted stand of the carachter (walking, jumping, whatever) and then the artist sketch over it. And guess what? The manga looks excelent. It´s something that you look and you think "hey, this is pretty good, and it doesn´t look like something just for children" and so is the comics of Marvel done by that pc... net... program.. whatever.

I don´t like it in the way that it looks easy to reproduct and a lot artificial... but damn, it looks fine as hell. And realistic.

A lot of people claim that comics have the thing of don´t look real. Like work of Joe Madureira.

And his work is a good example. Look Battle Chasers (or whatever the never-ended series was called... Joe you s.o.b.): it was awesome. Then, he use it the same style, that unique based on manga style, on Ultimates volume 3, and guess what? It sucked. A lot. Because when you look at Ultimates volume 1 and 2 (that keeps on being one of the best Marvel books you can read, by my standarts) had that REALISTIC look that gave the series a unique presentation.

And maybe thats what is all about: reality. Look at the super heros movies, like Batman Begins and Dark Knight. They´re awesome because you think "that it´s possible, a guy can really be Batman in todays world, and have all those bat-stuff".

And that´s my opinion.
Sorry for my english, i´m portuguese.
