FEW CAPTAIN AMERICA MOVIE PICS

God, Evans just isn't Captain America/Steve Rogers. I could maybe see him as Bucky/Winter Soldier. Atleast we'll see the original WWII shield.

No, you're right... I can't make final judgement until I see the film and his performance. But yeah, I have little faith. Visually speaking, based on the released pictures thus far, added to his current resume of performances.... he's just not Steve Rogers.

nope,...he sure isn't.
And here's a note for casting agents, directors, ect.. If The guy you cast to plat Cpt. America's Neck isn't at least as wide as his jawline, you've got the wrong guy ( See current cover of Entertainment Weekly ) ...seriously he looks like pre-Super Soldier Steve Rodgers in that pic

They should have jst cast him as "Torro" or Bucky......

I THOUGHT THE SAME THING ABOUT THE EW COVER!!!! i was like, "is this supposed to be him in a 'BEFORE Cap' pic??" LOL seriously; the guy CAN act ok. not the best, not the worst, but STUPID for Human Torch to be cast as Captain America because not only are there BILLIONS of people on this planet, any number of them more suited for the role, but it literally STILL looks like Human Torch is pranking & punking everyone by pretending to be Cap. it's ludicrous, despite him being "not the worst actor" and a pretty decent guy.

Yeah, nothing against Chris Evans. He's just not right for the part of Captain America.

I loathed the FF movies (just dreadful), but thought he was a fine Human Torch.

If not Human Torch, I wouldn't mind him as Bucky/Winter Soldier.

I just can't see him standing next to Iron Man & Thor and immediately having their respect and utmost loyalty. He seems more like a great soldier than the best Leader.

Frankly, I could care less about the physicality of Steve Rogers. It's all in the acting, and I got no idea what to expect. Like anything to do with modern Hollywood, my expectations tend to be slightly on the low side.

If there's one thing to like in the pictures it's that Evans isn't trying to look all butch. An arrogant, posturing Cap is the last thing I want.

- Ok,..your not casting the Lone Ranger,..your not Casting, Jesse James,..this is CAPTAIN AMERICA. he represents THE PINNACLE OF HUMAN DEVELOPMENT...not only Morally, but PHYSICALLY. he is the ultimate human being. His "Physicality" is half of what MAKES him Captain America ( ala the 'Super Soldier' aspect) . It's an intricate part of his character. He's not some " 'gosh shucks' pretty boy with a heart of gold that can fight real good ". He's what's best in all of us, what we should aspire to be ( kind of like Super-Man). When Cap walks in a room, you take notice bc of his PHYSICAL presence, and Charisma.
-To say his physicality doesn't matter is like saying that Sherlock Holmes detective skills don't matter, Kelly Slater's Surfing ability doesn't matter....or that Conan's Physicality doesn't matter ( oh,..wait,..:) )
-I'm sorry, It' not all in the acting. It's all in the Casting.....and this guy is wrong for the part.
